The Thing About Life.
A lot of people I know are in dilemma.
But what really are we trying to find? What answers do we seek?
Once my best friend told me that she could give me the reason why I read so much. I was confused.
She told me that this world depressed me. I needed to escape.
For a moment, I believed she was right. Because yes, I felt this world was letting me down. I needed, more than anything, to escape.
For a moment, I believed she was right. Because yes, I felt this world was letting me down. I needed, more than anything, to escape.
Wherever will I escape where I will not be depressed?
The truth I decided was depressing. And no matter how much we tried to understand it, live with it, escape it, we will in the end be disappointed by it.
We dont need to escape anything in this life. Life is meant to be lived, not escaped from. Running away will take you away from where you were but will never get you to where you want to be.
Sometimes we see something or hear something that intrigues us. We begin to question everything we believed was true. We change and seek for more, for answers. And when we get nothing from a practical world, we fail. We hate the world for not meeting our expectations. We hate the society for judging us. We hate everything and everyone. We hate ourselves for being too vulnerable.
I was like this too. I am no different, extraordinary human being. Beyond everything I am also vulnerable. That doesn't mean I have given up. It doesn't mean you should give up. Because the more you question yourself, the more you realize the truth. The more you seek answers, the more you begin to understand the world. You begin to untangle yourself, your complexities, you confront your penitence.
This is how you live.
